We want to inform members attending tonight that there is a yellow weather warning for both heavy rain and strong wind associated with Storm Darragh. Unfortunately, due to the high winds, for health and safety reasons we are unable to provide marquee/canopy cover for guests as they queue for entry & food. For logistical reasons, it is not possible for us to bring the vendors indoors.
As the hot food vendors (Red Heads & Geordie Guys) will be outside, please bare this in mind as you may be required to stand outside in the unpleasant weather conditions while collecting your food and therefore you may wish to bring a coat and/or umbrella.
We will be providing a staffed cloakroom where you can check in any coats/umbrellas, this will be inside the entrance of the venue. Please be aware that no item will be given out from the cloakroom without the matching ticket being presented. If you’ve lost your ticket, you will be asked to wait until the end of the event to collect your belongings. Please note that Boiler Shop cannot accept liability for any items lost or damaged whilst in the cloakroom. All items are left at the risk of the owner.
We also have a small number of large umbrellas available for guests to use while queuing for the food vendors – however there is likely to be a short wait to use these.
Please ensure you have your ticket/QR code ready as you enter on your phone or printed – This will assist us in making entry as quick as possible. Failure to provide your ticket/QR code could result in you being refused entry, so it is important to remember.
With having 450 people in attendance, please be aware there is likely to be queues upon arrival to the venue as well as at the bar and with the food vendors, these should go down quickly so your patience and understanding is appreciated.

Transport
- Metro & Train – Newcastle Central Station is adjacent; Boiler Shop is a 5-minute walk from the main entrance.
- City Centre Main Bus Stations are all within walking distance.
- There is also a taxi rank just outside of Central Station.
- There’s no dedicated accessible parking; the nearest car park is Stephenson Quarter Car Park (Forth Banks, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 3PH) Located 400 metres away. If you are arriving to the venue by taxi, you can get dropped off on South Street, just a few metres from the venue entrance.
