Join us for our annual SSC Summer Social Event at Wylam Brewery on Saturday 7th June 2025!
We welcome members, their colleagues, friends and family to enjoy delicious food, fun filled entertainment and live acoustic music.
Ticket Details
- Ticket valid for 1 person and includes:
- 1x food voucher (street food stalls by Wylam, including deep pan pizza, burgers, shawarma and hot dogs – food items issued on a first come first serve basis)
- 1x sweet treat voucher (provided by Cake Stories)
- Unlimited popcorn & candy floss
- Subsidised drinks throughout the event
- Live music and interactive entertainment
- This is a family friendly event suitable for all ages. Children aged 2 and under are not required to have a ticket. Any children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times throughout the event
Other Event Information
- Event time: 11:30 – 4.30pm (admittance to the event will close at 2pm)
- Food tokens & wrist band will be issued on arrival
- There is no formal seating plan for this event, there will be casual bench seating and standing space to allow more freedom and movement throughout the venue between teams/departments
- Please note any dietary or accessibility requirements at the time of booking
- If you have not made us aware of a dietary requirement at the time of booking, it may be unable to be catered for
- We are hopeful for sunshine this year, however, in the event of wet weather the event will still go ahead

- Walking – to access the Brewery please walk through the main gates to Exhibition Park (Claremont Road entrance) and follow the footpath through the underpass – this leads you to the central footpath that traverses the middle of the park – continue on to the Boating Lake then follow the footpath around the lake and you are at Wylam Brewery.
- Cycling – you can cycle in the park. There are 8 dedicated Cycle Racks available free of charge
- Public Transport – nearest Metro – Haymarket (approx. 15 minute walk) and nearest Bus Stops: 10,11, 30, 31, 45, 55
- Please note: There is no vehicular access permitted through the park to the brewery other than for the mobility impaired. Such access needs to be pre-booked, and should have been noted at the point of booking
- If travelling by Car the nearest Public Car Park is on Claremont Road. The Car Park is open 24 hrs. Charges apply Mon-Sun (8am-6pm), Free Mon-Sun (6pm-8am). Blue badge holders free. Pay by phone location code 3658. Click here for further info

Please note: SSC members are entitled to 3 x 65% off tickets, 2 x 10% off tickets and up to 10 x cost price tickets in total.
